Morning sickness sure does suck.My midwife recommended I take a half unisom at noon and a whole pill at night, along with 25 mg of B6 every six hours. The half pill at noon didn't bother me too much, and the whole pill at night helped me sleep. Make sure you get the tablets and not the gels, they have different ingredients. 9.Unisom is not just benedryl actually, the active ingredient in unisom is doxylamine and benedryl has diphenhydramine which has been linked to Alzheimer’s with long-term use so that’s why I use unisom for sleep instead of benedryl. I need it to be able to sleep during the day after night shifts and it’s just about the only way I can.I'm almost 6 weeks with my first baby. I was given a prescription of Diclectin (unisom b6 prescription) for if I develop morning sickness. I feel fine first thing in the morning but as the day progresses I start to feel quite yucky. It comes in waves for sure. I'm eating frequently but the waves are still a little intense. .
