I also found these reasons why a P06DD code is thrown: - Low or dirty engine oil. - Faulty Oil Pressure Sensor.P06DD is stored in the PCM's (powertrain control module) memory when the engine is stuck in low-pressure mode. P06DD is a very common code to find in the Commander. P06DD can be caused by a failure in the dual-stage oil pump, More often than not, clearing this code will not involve dealing with the oil pump.On the P06DD code they claimed the oil cooler is bad and replaced that. Big suprise, on the road test the Jeep reset the P06DD code. Now the dealer claims the oil pump needs to be changed again, but Jeep won't authorize it (yet).
