2024 R6 stuck on creating squad

All day my game hasn’t been able to get past the “creating squad” prompt of the loading screen. My platform is pc. Does anybody know if this is caused by the connection issues or is it something else that I need to fix? I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling but idk where else to go from here sadly.
