This one was really close to breaking.....again.Aug 4, 2016 · Hi I have a 48" SCAG tiger cub. The drive belt keeps sliding off the idler pulley shortly after start up. Maybe in 1 out of 20 times does it stay on so I can mow. I replaced the belt and the pulley and it's still happening. Sometimes it happens when i throttle up, sometimes it happens when i engage the blades. The pulleys look aligned and straight.
